Young Pecan began operations in the 1920’s as a buyer and shipper of pecans and was an early participant and innovator in the technologies for cracking or shelling pecans . Today, Young Pecan operates a large shelling facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico and maintains corporate offices and a distribution center in Florence, South Carolina. Young’s primary business is a wholesaler and ingredient supplier to major food manufacturers in America and abroad.
